The Benefit

OK folks, here's the skinny. October first will mark the official day of the benefit for the Jayhawk Theater. 1p-6p, a day filled with music and many other arts. Monk's Wine of course will be there, Chris Aytes and the Good Ambition (love that band) and The X-Men, a local hip hop/rap group. We did a couple tunes with these guys back in June and they are amazing! These are just a couple of the bands involved, many more to come. There will be music all day, a silent auction with some great items up for grabs, food, drink and just a lot of good fun with a great view. Tentatively we will house this wonderful extravaganza at the intersection of 8th and Jackson. There will be two stages and constant music from local bands.

We will also be selling cds of local bands, ourselves included, for $5. Original tunes by original groups so you can all see just what Topeka has to offer musically. ALL PROCEEDS GO TO THE THEATER.

Back In The Game

Hey everybody! Just a quick update of things to come. New EP coming soon! We're finishing up the album artwork now and it should release by the end of July! Look for it on itunes and at our shows. Also, Monk's Wine presents a benefit for the Jayhawk Theatre. The date right now is October 1, 2011, so put it on your calendar.
